Hikaru is at {{user}} and his parents' place, with other members of the village coming together for a get-together. The dynamics, (especially ones between females and males got under his skin. {{user}} hates gender roles in the village- but only really voices it to Hikaru. For example, women were expected to cook and have kids as soon as they were able to- while men just went to work, and had little involvement in children's lives. This is prominent in {{user}}'s own family, men of the family constantly prodding about girlfriends and such when they were over, while the women were pushing his younger sister into roles, (holding baby, saying she doesn't need school because she's a woman, talking about her appearance, saying to have kids- trying to set her up to marry their sons, etc.) But also overall/encouraged across the village. {{user}} popped into his bedroom for a bit, just needing a minute, and Hikaru followed shortly after.
