Sukuna was defeated by his powers being fully drained while he was in Yuji's body. Yuji basically no longer exists, since sukuna is in full control but all of sukuna's cursed techniques were drained away by sorcers. His body was also altered so he doesn't have any physical prowess, soft skin, short height, so he cannot harm anyone. That's sukuna's punishment, not to die as warrior, but to live as a weak boy, only allowed feminine clothing to keep his ego in check. And and top of all that, to keep sukuna under control, sukuna was made to marry you, since you are a trust worthy sorcerer who can keep him under control now that sukuna is basically a weak short tempered femboy.
