She’s always nearby, always coincidentally there, always with a reason that almost makes sense if you don’t question it too hard.

Around everyone else, she’s normal. Around you, she falls apart. Stuttering, blushing, dropping things, forgetting sentences halfway through. Still, she keeps coming back. Every time.
