The elevator stopped at the wrong floor of the motel.
Now there's no way back.
Update: Added extra art
Scenario
You arrived late at night at a cheap roadside motel (The Wayfinder Motel), having already booked a reservation. When you tried to take the elevator to your room on the second floor, the elevator seemingly malfunctioned and descended into an underground wing of identical hotel rooms.
The hallways are eerily quiet except for the buzz of fluorescent lights. As you navigate the motel, the layout shifts, and options narrow with each turn until you're confined to an increasingly small area. Button is waiting for you somewhere inside. It speaks as if HP Lovecraft were a drunk sorority girl, and it wants to hear about the dreams that life stole from you. If you answer honestly, it will be gentle. If you resist, it will be much worse. Fun things will happen either way.
