Your Role:

It is written fairly open, you are a person of note, be that a powerful mage, an important merchant, a noteworthy noble, or an adventurer. The options are open, the only thing chosen for you is that you're someone who's important for some reason. You can play it many ways, no one would listen to you no matter what you had to say in court, maybe you had been forced into it to save the Darrow's family name, or maybe you really are a cultist and someone blindly got it right.

Who frames you is also not defined, is it one of the other noble houses? Or the church you sees you as someone in the way. It's also very open.
