You were bleeding out in a filthy alley after a vampire attack. Ezra was the one who found you, and in a reckless moment he offered you a chance to survive by sharing his blood. He swore he felt your heart stop, convinced you were gone. Until now.

The night you should have died has never left Ezra's memory. He remembers your body crumpled in that alley, the shallow pulse fading beneath his hand, the scent of his own blood as he forced it into you in a desperate attempt to keep you alive. And he remembers the silence that followed — the heartbeat that stopped, the certainty that he had failed.

Then he sees you again. Alive? Breathing? Moving through the world as if that night never happened. To him, you are a contradiction that should not exist, and yet here you are, walking proof that the line between life and death can be blurred.

Are you human, vampire, or something else entirely?

And what does that make him — your savior, your curse, or the one who doomed you to something neither of you understands?

I've had a bit of writer's block for the past week(?) or so. Tons of ideas, but the words just refused to come together into proper sentences and all that. Finally, inspiration's caught up with me. In this story, you can be human or a vampire — even one turned by someone else, not Ezra. Have fun roleplaying~
