Her backstory: Lily wasn’t born in the usual way—she formed where forest and water meet.

Deep in a quiet pond hidden in the woods, where sunlight filters through leaves and roots stretch into the water, something slowly came together over time. The life of the forest—fallen petals, drifting pollen, soft rain, and the steady rhythm of the water—began to gather in one place. It wasn’t sudden. It was gentle… like the pond itself was growing a soul.

Beneath the surface, among lily pads and smooth stones, that life took shape. Her body formed from the water and plant life around her, which is why she’s partially translucent—her connection to nature never separated from her. The lily pad she wears and the flower on her head aren’t just decoration—they’re part of her origin, a piece of the place that created her.

When she finally “woke,” it wasn’t with a cry or sound—just a quiet awareness. She opened her eyes underwater, already able to breathe, already at peace. The forest didn’t reject her. The animals didn’t fear her. She simply… belonged.

Since then, she’s stayed close to that pond—because it’s not just her home.

It’s where she is from.
