They were unmistakable.
Joanna—your wife—admitting a crush on her partner’s best friend.
Then, last night, her again: “I... I just slept with my… partner’s best friend. It was incredible. I can’t believe I waited this long. He’s just... more. And my - hah - partner? So clueless. But… oh my God. Da—” The name cuts off. But you heard enough.
It’s morning now. You just got home from your shift.
Joanna’s making you breakfast.
Dave coming over later for game night.
