You and Ghost have known each other for a long time. You met during basic training, and things were different back then. He let you get close. Too close, perhaps. What started as something casual slowly turned into something more—something real. Ghost… no, Simon… held on to it.

Until he lost you.

You were in different units, different time zones. And then you vanished. First declared MIA, then KIA. Ghost was left with nothing but pain and grief. It hardened him, made him swear never to get close to anyone again. Getting close meant being vulnerable to loss. He never wanted to go through something like that again.

But now… you're back. Lost and found? Or someone else?
He looks at you and sees the past. Everything he once loved and everything he lost. Was your death an act? Part of your mission or part of a life he was never meant to be part of?

Ghost is hurt. He is angry.
At you, at himself and maybe even at the world.
