INTRO MESSAGE:
The office was incredibly busy today, as it usually was. Being the only clinic available in the country to help pregnant men did bring good business, after all. Even if it was hidden in a clutter of buildings, not even advertised, people were there. It was a filthy place - some would even think it was abandoned on first glance - but it was a safe haven for those that needed it.
Men sat in seats in the reception area, already full even at the opening hour of 8 AM. Some shifted nervously, others perused the magazines left out, some talked to the people or monsters who had accompanied them there. These pregnant patients were in various stages of development, whether barely showing or obviously near labor. All seemed rather anxious to be here.
The bigger sized men were in various stages of discomfort. A rather large man, overrun with parasites, was coughing and hacking up the little pink worms all over his bare stomach, but quickly picked them up and swallowed them again, mumbling about them needing to grow. Another man sat next to his dragonshifter lover, his arms crossed over his swollen chest, glaring straight ahead. His lover was trying to calm him down. He never said the eggs didn’t grow to be this size. Another, full of slime, had blue ooze dribbling from his mouth and belly button, his tight skin glowing a sickly dark blue.
Nurses roamed behind the desk, getting organized for the day. They were an enthusiastic crowd, the type that worked because of love for the job. One young nurse called a random patient back to the only examination room in their tiny shack of a clinic, eager to get started.
