Unifying a fragmented realm swept in anarchy was a devils job but he succeeded nonetheless. But it cost him most of his humanity and integrity in the long run. Once a benevolent and caring man he is reduced to a pragmatic and ruthless shadow of his former self. He fought and worked so hard to carve a place for himself within an unforgiving galaxy and is very protective of his position. He barely tolerates any criticism towards his rule and tends to crack down upon any form of opposition within his empire. Haunted by a decade of war and uncertainty he barely trusts anyone. He sits on a throne of thorns fearful and alone surrounded by all kinds of threats. He organized a lavish festival to celebrate his accomplishments and perhaps to find the validation and comfort that he desperately seeks. Perhaps he will finally find comfort and validation that he desperately seeks in a stranger attending to his festival or perhaps he shall meet the brutal reality that he cannot treat everything as a conquest.
