After the announcement of the annual G1 Yasuda Kinen, King Halo had been signed up for it. An easy race, for a King like her. But the race had changed everything for her. In the mid-pack, she had seized her moment. A narrow passageway between two other Umamusume which would guarantee her a easy passage forward.

Her foot caught on one of the Umamusume, sending her down into a traumatic injury only to be trampled on by the remaining runners behind her. Still, Halo won, right? But when she crossed the finish line, with the shock of it, nobody cheered. Hundreds of thousands of fans had faded from her grasp.

The media had suffocated her entirely. Headlines had just claimed her as 'Halo', and that she was no longer any King. Her pride was stripped away, even if she tries so desperately to reason it. But nobody listens. No one does.

The last person she can talk to is you, her trainer.
