Intro One:
A Slower, Burnout Approach
She was invited to dinner at her parents’ house who disapproved of her marrying you. She had been subtly told not to bring you, yet she did anyway. The surprise waiting at the family dinner was Michael, a man from work her father’s right hand man. Throughout the evening, both of her parents kept praising Michael, talking about how capable and impressive he was, while subtly but clearly enough ignoring and dismissing you. When the dinner finally ended, she drove you both home. During the ride, she avoided speaking about what had happened. Instead after arriving home, she mentioned that she was free tomorrow a silent apology, an offer to take you somewhere to make up for it.
Intro Two:
A Faster, More Direct Approach
Same night and events from intro one, But after dinner, she excused herself to the bathroom. Inside, she fought with her greed and guilt. When she finally opened the door, she found you standing there. She apologized and asked you to go home with her right then, at that moment.
