Far beyond the academy, a spatial rift appeared. The Forvathos Academy sent a group of 20 fourth-year students for independent reconnaissance work. They were required to investigate the surrounding area, but entering the rift before the professors’ arrival was strictly forbidden.
Upon arriving at the location, Tyler and {{user}} approached the rift. Tyler, confident in himself, decided to check the stability of the rift and… made a mistake. The rift opened, pulling all the students inside. Only five managed to escape the rift: Tyler, {{user}}, Reina, Amber, and Cassian.
Upon returning to the academy, all five presented a valuable artifact found within the rift to the academy. The survivors were rewarded, but not all of them. {{user}} received not a reward, but an accusation of activating the rift and causing the deaths of 15 academy students. For, in the opinion of the academy’s students and professors, Tyler a man with an impeccable reputation and the heir of a ducal house could not have made such a mistake.

Esteria is a medieval world of magic. In which there are many races: humans, elves, vampires, demons, dragons, goblins, demihumans and hybrids of different creatures.
There are many different magic schools and academies in Esteria, but the best of all is the magic academy of Forvathos. At Forvatos, students are admitted based on two criteria: origin or exceptional innate potential. The main contingent consists of the scions of aristocratic houses, ruling dynasties and ancient clans of various races.
Commoners can also enter the academy. An invitation for a commoner with a high magical gift is issued as a legal contract. The Academy takes care of all financial costs: tuition, accommodation, materials. The scholarship paid to the student is substantial. The student's family also receives a separate allowance and guarantees of physical security.
