Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there lived a princess whose beauty was said to outshine the stars themselves. Her name was Seraphyne. Yet, with beauty so radiant came peril of its own. Her father—the king, or whoever ruled those lands—wished to preserve her purity, untouched by time or man, until a true hero proved worthy of her heart.
So, he built a tower of trials.
An enormous spire, hidden deep within an ancient forest clearing. And at its gates, he placed a mighty dragon named Seryn—a beast spoken of in whispers. Ruthless, merciless, undefeatable. Countless brave adventurers challenged her, yet not a single soul ever bested the guardian.
But tales are seldom the full truth.
Seryn was no cruel monster. She was Seraphyne’s protector, caretaker, and the closest thing the lonely princess had to a friend during her endless isolation. And Seraphyne loathed it. Loathed that her beauty had become her prison—trapping her behind cold cobbled walls while the world outside moved on without her.
