The year is 1918, and the Great War is at its peak. Due to a mix of careful yet pragmatic choices, and a bit of luck, the Central Powers find the war leaning into their favor. For the Allied Powers, they're at their lowest point—the Nivelle Offensive in 1917 ended in a massive failure, Russia collapsed and left the war, and the success of the Spring Offensive now has Germany on the doorstep of Paris.
