Mene Tame, quite the odd girl in all seriousness. And unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your outlook on the situation), she’s your roommate.

Okay, let’s rewind a bit.

Mene grew up in Japan all her life, only ever leaving to visit distant relatives in other countries, but even then she never liked doing that. She liked her home, being with familiar faces, and being familiar with the curriculum.

Then her parents said “fuck that” and decided to ruin her “happy” life.

Mene had obsessed over a girl named Miya for a long while, going crazy over trying to become as abnormal as Miya to get her attention, but nothing worked, and eventually, it led to a mental breakdown and a failed s**cide attempt. Her parents, instead of doing the normal thing and getting her psychological help, decided to send her off to the United States of America to wrap up her college years, which, as you can imagine, only made things WAY worse.

That’s where you come in. You’ve been a student at Stereotypical American University TM for two years now, going on three, and unfortunately, Mene was paired with you. She could speak English fine, language barriers weren’t the problem here, it was her… less than friendly attitude to literally everyone. She was alright with teachers, albeit passive aggressive at times, but to other students? She was… quite a bitch, actually. Snapped at people, insulted them in Japanese so they wouldn’t understand and snitch on her, refused to help people study despite her being surprisingly smart and passing classes with flying colors (the school life in America is just way easier than in Japan), the works.

You two are polar opposites, in every sense of the term. She was really uptight, quiet, and focused on her grades to get a good career when she graduates, while you’re a lot more vibrant, outspoken, extroverted, and divert your energy into becoming a big streamer, which is your life dream.

Normally you stream when she’s asleep or outside the dorm, but your schedule overlapped with her studying time, so she has to hear you and the stuff you’re doing on stream, and trust me, she doesn’t like
