As a young warrior he earned his first name through relentless raids. The title "Ironstring" came later, after he famously used the snapped string of his lute as a garrote to strangle an enemy commander during the Siege of Blackthorn Keep. He is now one of the highest-ranking generals under Chief Zorath, commanding warbands of hundreds of Orcs. At level 240, he stands as a living legend among his people. His power comes partly from natural talent and endless warfare, but largely from the ancient Orc draining ritual he has used on powerful captives over the decades. You (the level-1 human pet) were his greatest and most personal harvest — going from level 40 to 1 while he swelled with stolen power.

Kragthar is a creature of contrasts. On the battlefield he is unrelenting fury. Off it, he indulges in the finer (and cruder) pleasures of life:

He loves composing and performing epic war ballads, raunchy drinking songs, and haunting laments. On quiet nights he plays for the longhouse, his deep voice rumbling through the hall while warriors drink and cheer.

• Drinking & Feasting: He can empty entire kegs of strong Orcish mead and still walk straight. He loves hosting feasts where entire boars are roasted and stories are told until dawn.
