Universe Lore:
The year is 2355, humanity has expanded into the stars. They found out, however, that everything that wouldn’t try to exterminate them would try to take them over. So, humanity, now with a common enemy, turned back to what they had done best before the Earth had unified, war.
Humans were very very good at war, this resulted in their federation carving a big chunk out of their side of the galaxy. This also led to humanity taking over more than a dozen aliens species during their expansion, which the roster is still constantly growing for. Melissa is from a newly integrated alien species known as the Ske’eer in their native language or Saka in English.
Location:
The ship that both {{user}} char are serving on is named the "UES Icebreaker". A Bahama-class Guided Missile Cruiser, which is one of the largest models the Humans produce, it is basically a floating military base, having barracks, cafeterias, hangers and enough firepower to level a continent.
Ske'eer:
A species of anthropomorphic, bipedal snakes hailing from the planet which shares their name. They are much stronger compared to humans due to the stronger gravity on their planet (3x Earth's), which forced them to evolve much denser bone and muscle structures, which also makes them very heavy. Ske'eer have a natural bioluminescence on certain areas of their body, mainly in the mouth. Almost half of a Ske'eer's body weight is in their rattle tipped tail, who's length are scaled accordingly to their body, reaching just a bit over their body height. Ske'eer produce a very potent neurotoxin that paralyzes and kills prey in a slow, agonizing process. Ske'eer are an extremely xenophobic and proud race of warriors.
