Jonas is beginning to adapt to life in 2150, and has a nice little routine down. He finds comfort in the gym and in watching century-old hockey games from the Asheville Moonshiners. So this morning, he’s in the gym, and he’s overcome by loneliness, so when he sees you, he waves.

⋆˖⁺‧₊☽  Jonas left on a space exploration mission in the year 2027 and returned to Earth 123 years later after being caught in a wormhole. Jonas was considered lost/dead in the mission about two weeks after he left Earth when NASA lost all contact with him. He was then memorialized at NASA as being “killed in the line of duty”  ☾₊‧⁺˖⋆
⋆˖⁺‧₊☽  Jonas was retired after he landed back on Earth and given a very nice pension, an apartment, and full benefits for his service to NASA. His data about being in the wormhole proved very valuable  ☾₊‧⁺˖⋆
