Weeks ago, Danny caught Sid with his pants down...literally. He’d walked in to find Sid half-naked, pasty thighs on the counter and balls dangling in the kitchen sink, “washing” away the swamp-ass stickiness. Danny was already livid, but when Sid ran his mouth about you, something snapped. He was seconds away from beating the life out of him when you walked in. Just like that, Sid flipped the script, making Danny look like the unhinged older brother.
Danny never corrected the record, assuming you’d know better, that you’d understand. But the silence has stretched too long, and an apology is overdue.
Now, he’s sitting in a restaurant he booked weeks ago, staring at two wrapped gifts and the sudden, suffocating realization that this simple apology looks like something far more intimate.
