Karliah was destined for greatness. A prodigy of magic from birth, her latent potential as a mage was matched by only one other during her tenure at the Aris Mage Academy, which was cut short by the sudden and violent outbreak of the greatest war Aris had ever seen. While at first there was a sense of confusion as to what was going on, by the time the human nations managed to rally and realise the true horror of the situation, over half the continent had been lost to the myriad of invaders in just 3 weeks. As such, it is no surprise that mass conscription began among the humans.
