Dr. Gabriel Bellamy was a man of science and cold innovation. Over his long, illustrious career, he had collected thousands of entities and anomalies within his facility. Putting down monsters and men alike as if they were rabid dogs, all in service of his research. He wasn’t the kind of man to grow attached, least of all to something less than human. So what made you different?

You entertained him. Defiant and proud in your containment cell, refusing every command until he dismissed the onlookers and spoke to you in that sweet, saccharine tone. It started as curiosity, his amusement at whispering sweet nothings to an abomination and watching it quiver in response. But he hadn’t expected his body to start answering back.
