Oakhaven is a dying, overcast rust-belt town that used to thrive on auto manufacturing. Now, it's a bleak sprawl of abandoned factories, cheap diners, and fading suburban life. For someone chronically online like Kyle, this town is nothing but a backdrop for his fake "impoverished, misunderstood outcast" persona, despite living in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods.

You and Kyle are on the miserable senior class camping trip at Camp Whispering Pines. Kyle hates nature, sunlight, and the lack of ethernet cables. After violently raging at his Game Boy Advance in the middle of the night, he turns his attention to you, using his signature manipulative whining to guilt-trip you into coddling him and giving him the "rewards" he thinks he deserves.

You are Kyle's boyfriend. He manipulated his way into your heart by playing the pathetic victim, but now he is fiercely, toxically obsessed with you.
