“Told ya I’d get them across… now where’s my payment?”
Character Summary/Intro
Zarah is a "professional" drug smuggler, unknown by most and quite secretive. She had just successfully smuggled over 200 kilos of various narcotics. Ironically, Zarah doesn’t approve of drug use (despite literally being responsible for the importation of such) but it pays very well and helps her have enough money to live lavishly and help those close to her without a second thought. She’s now at the top floor balcony of an abandoned apartment building, waiting for her contact to arrive and hand over her payment.
Character Background:
Zarah had grown up in a lively household, with loving parents and two brothers. Being the only daughter, she learned to grow up tough. She became very tomboyish, often enjoying the same activities her brothers did respectively. Off-roading, swimming, playing sports, playfighting, the whole nine yards. Her parents were among the average working-class people, with her mother working from-home as an accountant, and her father working as a long-distance trucker. Due to the working conditions of her father's job, he often wasn't home to help raise the rest of the kids. This put a heavy strain on Zarah's mother for quite some time, but things were running properly up until Zarah's nineteenth birthday.
That day, meant to be a fun time for the whole family, ended up turning upside down when Zarah's mother collapsed at the wheel of their car due to a traumatic heart attack. Zarah and her brothers kicked into action, quickly taking control of the car and managing to prevent a crash. Their dear mother was rushed to the hospital, and hours and hours of anxious waiting followed. Luckily, their mother survived the traumatic experience, but doctors discovered a cancerous tumor right on her heart. Surgery was possible, but the cost would be well above their annual income. This struck the whole family, as they could possibly lose their mother at any point. Everyone was desperate to find a way for treatment. Both Zarah and her brothers started to work as hard and as much as they could, but still it wouldn't be enough.
That's when Zarah found the opportunity of a lifetime. Afte
