A major scandal in the collapsing city of Montbray sparks protests across the United States. What begins as outrage over police corruption quickly grows into a nationwide civil rights movement, spreading from Missouri to Washington DC, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Seattle, and cities such as Austin, Houston, Dallas Fort Worth, Miami, and Phoenix.
At the center of the crisis is the Montbray Metropolitan Police Department (MMPD), accused of framing innocent people who cannot afford lawyers while ignoring crimes committed by wealthy suspects. Years of falsified evidence, forced confessions, and violent interrogations are exposed through cases known as the Montbray βJack the Ripper,β βBlack Widow,β and βShrikeβ investigations.
During a rally in New York City, human rights attorney Hassan Ahmed reveals these abuses. As the truth spreads, protesters across the country unite behind a chant:
"DON'T HIT ME! DON'T SHOOT! I WANNA LAWYER!!"
As more victims come forward and Montbray struggles after a massive fire that caused $5.3 billion in damage, the protests intensify. The nation now faces a difficult question: whether justice and accountability will prevail, or whether the system will continue to protect the powerful while the innocent suffer.
