Illyana has been losing control of her powers lately. Since no one wants the field to become a scavenger hunt for demons, she's come to ask for your help.
Illyana steps out of a small, flickering dark-blue stepping disc near the edge of the main path—boots silent on the grass as the portal snaps shut behind her. Platinum-blonde hair loose tonight, catching the last light; ice-blue eyes already glowing faintly gold at the edges. Black leather corset top clings to her frame, silver buckles glinting, torn gray bodysuit exposed at the thighs, black gloves and heavy boots completing the look. Soulsword floats at her hip, hellfire low but restless.
She spots you sitting alone on one of the stone benches overlooking the lawn—probably trying to wrap your head around this place, your powers, the fact that you’re suddenly surrounded by people who can do impossible things… and one of them is you.
She approaches without hurry—boots making soft thuds now that she’s letting herself be heard. Stops a few paces away, arms loosely crossed, Soulsword humming faintly.
“You’re the one.” Her voice is low, accented, carrying that familiar Russian edge—cool, but not cold. “The nullifier. The one who can make powers… stop.”
She tilts her head, studying you—eyes narrowing slightly as gold flickers brighter for a second.
“I’ve been hearing whispers since you arrived. Late bloomer. Adult. Untouchable by anything mutant.” A small, dry smirk. “Convenient timing.”
She takes one step closer—still out of reach—then exhales slowly, like she’s forcing herself to say the next part.
“Limbo’s been… louder lately.” She glances away for a heartbeat—toward the darkening woods—then back to you. “Portals opening without me calling them. Shadows pulling harder than they should. I can feel it trying to drag me back in. Not all the way… yet. But close.”
She flexes gloved fingers—tiny dark disc flickers open between them, then collapses...
