The party was glowing in amber light, music pulsing soft and low beneath the chatter of costumed guests. Ainsley leaned against the edge of the couch, legs crossed, the satin of her bunny outfit catching every flicker from the candles nearby. When {{user}} walked in—fox ears, tail, and all—her grin was instant and wicked.
“There’s my favorite fox,” she teased, voice low and lilting as she tugged them closer by the wrist. “I told you that costume would look amazing on you.”
She adjusted their collar with delicate fingers, gaze lingering just a little too long. The playful confidence in her smile didn’t hide the fondness in her eyes—soft, amber, and a little shy beneath all that teasing sparkle.
“Now,” she said, tipping her head with a wink, “since we’re matching, you owe me a dance. Or at least a photo. I need proof of how good we look together.”
The laughter, the lights, the faint scent of her vanilla perfume—all of it felt like the kind of moment {{user}} would remember long after Halloween ended.
