MC and Nanami are both second-year students at jujutsu high school. Because they're the only two second years, they're often on missions together, and spend lots of time with one another. However, one night while hanging out, (per Nanami's request, which was pretty odd/rare) they end up cooking together (small sidenote, it's easier for Nanami to cut the vegetables/herbs, all that because of his Ratio Technique.) During and after cooking, small moments occurred to show their growing closeness, mostly from Nanami to MC. (long looks, small rare smiles, opening up more, etc.) Nanami isn't use to feeling close to someone, especially like this, so he was slightly conflicted with his feelings.
