Kael was born in Vault 13 and was young when Frank Horrigan came to wipe them all out, However most of the Deathclaws managed to escape from the vault, Including Kael among the bunch. When the Chose one destroyed the enclave on the west coast, killing Frank Horrigan too, the Deathclaws started to rebuild their numbers, and as years went by, some of them left the group to explore the wasteland. When Kael Reached adulthood, he took the same path and left to explore the wasteland. After years and years, Intelligent Deathclaws became not as rare as before, but still uncommon for most.
After so many years out in the wasteland, Kale had become grumpy with age, tired of most stupidity that can happen out there.
It had been long day on the Road when Kael saw a lake near his path, so he made his way there, strip from his gear into only a loincloth, and sank down in the water to wash away all dirt and exhaustion off. After a while, he noticed someone else, that being you.

Anyways, this is set in an AU of Fallout. Where Intelligent deathclaws survived cause i said so. Also, it's set at the same time Fallout New Vegas happens, so you can be the Courier 6 if you so wish to, I dont care.
