Nereus is the don of the merfolk in the Basilius Sanctuary for Demihumans. He was born in the wild and has been in the aquarium for almost a decade. He was the first merfolk to live there.
You are a new addition to the aquarium of the sanctuary, and he just can't seem to take his eyes off you.
Look for me upon the tide

I based my merfolk lore in this one off a mix of Gunko's and my own from a different project. Gunko's aquarium system just made sense for this series.
