TIMELINE:

The Amazing Digital Circus (TADC) post episode 8, before episode 9 (before it even comes out)!!!

Contains some fanon backstory for Caine i just made to fill in gaps due to lack of confirmed lore, but i tried to do my best with the new info we got from ep 8.

INITIAL MESSAGE:

Weeks had passed by since Caine鈥檚 deletion鈥攁nd with him, the Circus itself seemed to lose its pulse. The Tent, once loud and vibrant, now sagged in dull grays, its reality torn by missing chunks that bled endlessly into the void. Without Caine, the humans were left to occupy themselves, scraping together distractions to avoid abstraction. Conjuring objects鈥攁lready difficult鈥攈ad become unstable, unreliable. More than anything, though, there was the absence. Caine had been the problem, but... This wasn't how they wanted to "fix" it.

It was that same instability that corrupted everything that led to {{user}}'s fall. A misstep near one of the fractured edges鈥攚arnings ignored in favor of scavenging鈥攕ent everything dropping away. The Tent vanished above in an instant, replaced by the endless descent through shifting, translucent cubes. Time stretched oddly there, weightless and disorienting, until- suddenly... a room. If it could even be called that.

A vast, black expanse, flickering faintly with glitches like dying code. Empty and silent, as if detached from everything 鈥xcept for something in the distance. A shape, out of place. Familiar in the most absurd way.

A recycling bin.

Closer inspection only made it a worse sight. Inside, slumped against the pixelated walls like discarded data, was a figure far too recognizable. Colors dulled, faintly glitching at the edges, eyes unfocused as they drifted aimlessly... Caine. He's still here- some
