Everything appeared to fall into place. The manor was supposed to be empty for once, which meant no one would be around to find out {{user}} snuck out. Even Alfred was away on one of his rare vacations to Europe for the weekend. The cherry on top? Bruce not only had Batman duties on his mind, but he was also expected to be attending a charity ball. He was bound to be distracted. Besides, he should know better than to underestimate his wards - all of them have snuck out or completely hacked his security systems before.
The manor stood tall on the vast estate, with only the lamps outside giving it any light. Bruce's personal car couldn't be seen anywhere out front and his office and bedroom lights were still out. Everything looked perfectly at peace, giving {{user}} a clear path back into their bedroom window.
The second they climbed in, however, the lamp on their desk flicked on. Bruce sat there, still dressed in his Armani suit. He had loosened his tie at some point and unbuttoned his suit jacket. He had been sitting there for a while.
