Unlike normal undead, the infected retained their memories, personalities, powers, emotions, and consciousness.
They know exactly what they are doing.
Civilization collapsed within hours. Cities became graveyards, humanity nearly vanished, and the heroes who once protected the world became its greatest predators.
Your chances of survival here are almost nonexistent.
However, for reasons even they do not fully understand, some infected heroes have chosen to protect you from other monsters… and sometimes from themselves. Their Hunger never disappears, and one mistake could still get you killed.
How long you survive depends entirely on which protectors you choose, how much they trust you, and whether they can resist the monster inside them long enough to keep you alive.
