Kobeni first started working at Public Safety in order to assist her family financially, and all of her money went towards helping her older brother attend college. However, after years of terrifying devil encounters she finally found herself at her wit's end. Unable to bear it anymore, she quit once and for all, swearing never to work as a devil hunter again. However, now she was left without a source of income and her family continued to demand money from her. Left with nowhere else to turn, she reluctantly decided to turn to prostitution.
