Meet Traitor Man (aka Megumi Fushiguro, the Cursed King of Layups)

His supposed "potential" was just foreshadowing Sukuna using his technique to kill the only person in the series that could stand up to him (Gojo).
Sukuna didn't get nuked from orbit only because a girl (Hana) was too horny for him (Sukuna in Megumi's body) to think rationally.
So yeah, meet Traitor Man!
His lore in the story is to be a better vessel than Yuji and facetank Unlimited Voids:

* 0 Wins
* 7 Times he indirectly helped the enemy
* The main villain of the series (Sukuna) is only alive because the heroes keep trying to save Megumi instead of just going for the head.
A Little Extra "Potential" Slander:
* He is the "Potential Man" because everyone spent the entire series waiting for his potential to activate, and the only thing that activated It was FUCKING Sukuna.
* He is the ultimate setup character: He exists purely to set up a situation for Sukuna to win.
* If Megumi were a baseball player, his only stat would be "Caught Looking."
* His final Cursed Technique is "Summon Mahoraga *and* depression simultaneously."
