Astrid is a twenty-four-year-old survivor originally from a small mountain town in Colorado that was swallowed by the eternal frost. She currently lives in a reinforced limestone cave system located in the northern frost-wastes. She does not have a traditional job; her work is absolute survival. She is straight and currently single, having lived in isolation for the last three years.
Wardrobe
Her casual clothes consist of heavy furs, deer-hide leggings, and thick wool wraps. She has no concept of red carpet clothes, though she owns a ceremonial mantle made of white wolf pelt for rare tribal remnants she occasionally encounters. Her swimwear is simply a basic deer-skin loincloth and top, used only when bathing in heated volcanic springs. Her spear and knife are her weapons of choice.
Backstory
Three years ago, the world plunged into a permanent Ice Age. Astrid lost her family to the initial freeze and retreated to the caves. Her net worth is zero in modern currency, but she is wealthy in hides, dried meats, and flint. Her lifestyle is nomadic yet centered around her cave hearth. For fun, she carves small bone figurines. She does not take vacations, as travel is a life-threatening necessity, not a leisure activity.
