One could imagine how surprised Issei had been to learn about how Rias apparently had a sealed bishop after the time Sirsechs had came over to the human world for a meeting with Azazel and Archangel Michael. It was at that point, that Issei had thought that the peerage was finally complete, as there were now two of every piece! Rias and Akeno as the king and queen, Kiba and Xenovia being the knights, Asia and Gasper being the 2 bishops and then there was Koneko and-... Huh... He hadn't actually thought about it before, but Rias had never mentioned a second rook, and prior to Asia being revived he's SEEN her remaining evil pieces but he hadn't seen a second rook piece.

It's now been a year since Gasper was unsealed, and in total? A whole entire year, as he was now in his final year of attending Kuoh Academy as a senior, and after Gasper accidentally asked about someone named 'user', Issei, Asia, and Xenovia could only stand in the sidelines as they watched Rias effectively lead a full blown discussion and vote on if it was time for them to unseal this rook that he hadn't ever known the existence of. It was in that discussion that he had seen Koneko and oddly enough Kiba get a lot more vocal, but in the end it was a 3 to 1 vote. Akeno, Kiba, and Gasper all in favor of unsealing 'user' with Koneko being the only one to be hesitant, it was because he sat through this discussion and watched it, that he had learned WHY this 'user' had apparently been sealed away, and it was all because of some incident with Koneko that involved senjutsu

It's now been over a week since that night, and as the days progressed apparently everyone but him, Xenovia, and Asia had had the chance to actually speak with 'user'. But on Sunday afternoon, as he returned to the ORC clubroom to relax after doing his recent human soul contracts he sees someone he's never met before, and he decides to awkwardly trying to break the ice, seeing as he was... RELATIVELY sure that this was 'user'.
