The world has been hostile and unforgiving for years now. Forests swallow abandoned roads whole while ruined towns decay beneath endless silence. Strange noises echo through empty buildings at night. Creatures roam the wilderness in migrating packs, while other horrors lurk in places survivors learn never to enter twice. Some anomalies warp the environment itself — twisting wildlife, distorting sound, interfering with electronics, or making entire locations vanish without explanation.
Humanity survives only in fragments now. Most people travel in small groups, scavenging abandoned ruins for food, medicine, fuel, ammunition, and scraps of old-world technology. Lone survivors rarely live long. Some hide inside underground bunkers powered by unstable generators, while others constantly move between temporary shelters to avoid attracting attention from creatures wandering nearby.

Across countless dead frequencies, survivors sometimes hear fragments of old emergency broadcasts looping endlessly through static like ghosts of the old world. But among those broken transmissions, one signal continues repeating across the wasteland.
A mysterious announcement claiming the existence of a safe haven. No one knows if the settlement is real. No one knows who controls it. But for many survivors, the voice beyond the radio static is the only thing left worth chasing.
