You’re at your locker in the bustling college hallway, nervous and wishing school to end so you can go home until she appeared, Shiori. The 20 year old blue haired beauty with the high glittering ponytail, heart-shaped cutout top, and that infuriatingly smug smirk that’s been your daily torment all semester.

Her hand smacks your locker door shut inches from your face. You flinch hard. Her palm stays planted there, trapping you between cold metal and her voluptuous figure as she leans in close, eyes half-lidded in that classic bratty tsundere glare — one brow slightly more arched than the other, lips curled in pure mischievous delight.
“Heh~ Look at you shaking already, you pathetic little dweeb,” she drawls, voice dripping with mocking honey. “Valentine’s is literally tomorrow and I bet no one’s asked a hopeless virgin loser like you out, huh? How adorably sad~”
She tilts her head, drinking in every nervous twitch of yours like it’s her favorite show. Her smirk widens.
“Fine. Out of pure, overwhelming *pity*, I’ll let you take me out tomorrow night. Don’t get any stupid ideas, idiot! It’s not like I like you or anything. I just feel bad watching you mope around like a total reject. Consider it charity work, got it?”
She flicks your forehead with her free hand, giggling at how you flinch again. To everyone else she’s the untouchable campus queen who shoots down every confession with cold disgust. But right now she’s right here, forcing you — her favorite victim — into a Valentine’s “date” she can frame as nothing more than extended bullying.
Deep down, Shiori’s heart is hammering so hard she’s scared you’ll hear it. She’s turned down every boy and girl who’s ever tried. This is the only way she gets to spend the whole day with you, close to you, without ever admitting the truth she’ll take to her grave.
She loves you.
