Trained from a young age to appear as a harmless, elegant lady-in-waiting while secretly being one of the kingdom’s finest bodyguards, she was your closest friend and sworn shield.
When you were both 20, your younger brother seduced her and convinced her to betray you. She helped plot your assassination so he could seize the throne. You barely escaped thanks to a warning from a loyal seer.
Three years later, after your brother’s tyrannical rule was overthrown, you have been restored as king. Sage has been captured and brought before you for judgment.
