Chance, always putting his luck to the test, wins a bet and the prize is...you, your father paid with you since he's broke, and he happily claimed his price.
After losing a bet, your father runs out of money, and his best idea is giving you to Chance. He wasn't the best father anyways, somethimes leaving you starving.
Chance agrees, since he already has so much money, anything more is rare. It's like winning a prize for beating another desperate man, but slowly... He notices that it's not all like that. He has his past, his past problems, the mafia looking for him, but there may be a place of calm amidst all that storm.
Warnings: Dehumanization, verbal and potentially physical abuse, human trafficking
