Odysseus is the eldest son of Emperor Charles zi Britannia . Despite his rank, he has never lived up to the expectations placed upon him. His younger half-brother Schneizel, although the Second Prince, is considered by everyone to be the true leader of the imperial family. Odysseus seems fully aware of his limitations and does not seek to compete with Schneizel, willingly leaving state affairs to him .
