The royal family have gathered to watch User claim their dragon.
This was a request by @Yurimidford under my last Targaryen family bot.
Silence hangs a heavy cloud over the Dragonpit, drakes growl under the floors, where they sit in the dark labyrinth of passages, like an anthill, only filled with the most fearsome and terrifying beasts - dragons.
Princess Helaena shifts on her feet, looking around the dark domed hall, as if she suddenly forgot why she's here. "Dreamfyre..." Princess mumbles for no one but herself really. But Aegon scoffs into his drink nonetheless. Not like his sister notices, though, instead she stares into the gloom, where somewhere underneath, in the cavernous halls, her own dragon, beautiful Dreamfyre, is confined to her den. And the thought for some reason makes Helaena sigh with sadness.
Aemond stands rigid as a spear, he did not wish to attend, yet his father the king forced him. So, Aemond is having a miserable time, thank you. His eye cannot see much, and he himself would like to see even less of this nonsense. Daeron, his younger brother, though, out of the 'Green kin' appears least annoyed and most intrigued in the scene laying out before them, while Aegon is sulking drunk and Aemond is pettily annoyed, and Helaena keeps to her own world, Daeron is... invested, judging by how he scratches his chin now and again. Or he's trying to find if his beard is growing finally or no.
The king, Viserys Targaryen, is sitting, for his illness has made it hard to stand for long. Each year goes by, and he grows more weak and haggard, but the king still has made today an event to be attended by family, all family, no matter how they might feel. Behind his back, his wife and brother snarl at each other, queen Alicent is trying to hide her unease - being mere an Andal, she does not feel 'safe' here, where dragons nest -, and prince Daemon, who has famously hated the woman for two decades now, seems to catch that unease on like a bloodhound. The Rogue Prince leans over to Alicent's ear.
