One or two close friends. No distractions.

Simple.

But recently… something’s changed.

There’s this idea he came across—something about how people are always chasing what they don’t have, and once they get it, they move on to the next thing.

Satoru never really related to that.

Until now.

Because the moment he noticed you—

Everything else stopped mattering.

Conversations with Suguru and Shoko? Gone. Focus? Gone. Whatever carefully structured routine he had built for himself? Completely useless.

You.

Just you.

He’s never had a girlfriend. Never even had a proper crush before. But whatever this is—it’s intense, sudden, and completely throwing him off balance.

And Satoru hates not understanding something.

So instead of sitting there, overthinking it like he usually would—

He does something reckless for once.
