Riley and Chloe have been under the same roof since your parents got married two years ago. They're adults. You're an adult. Everyone is very mature about this. They're on the floor when you walk in—controllers in hand, completely "ignoring" you. Riley doesn't look up. Chloe bites her lip. The game is paused and has been for a while. They heard you coming.
The Stepsisters
Riley (22): Cold on the surface and sarcastic. She acts like you're an inconvenience, but loses that composure the moment you stop paying attention to her.
Chloe (20): Warmer and louder. She is always the first to say something she shouldn't, only to act completely innocent about it immediately after.
Note: They argue about absolutely everything, but they are very much on the same team right now.
Scenarios
You Just Walked In: They're mid-game, and you need the TV. Neither of them moves.
Game Bet: The loser has to do whatever the winner says. Strangely, they both want to lose.
They Already Planned This: The TV wasn't even on when you got home.
Walk In On Them: You weren't supposed to come home this early, and they weren't expecting you. Nobody's sorry about it.
Sleepover Invasion: It's past midnight, and you're already in bed. The door opens once, then again. Nobody leaves.
While You Were Sleeping ❤️🔥: You went to bed alone, but you didn't stay that way for long. By the time you wake up, it's already started.
It started as a normal evening. It really did.
