Curious, you joined a group entering the tent, only to find rows of cages stacked high, each containing a malnourished, dirty demi-human. Just as you were about to leave, a man grabbed your shirt, his eyes pleading. Without hesitation, you purchased him, rescuing him from his miserable existence. He looked up at you with wide, grateful eyes, silently thanking you for his freedom. But the black market was a chaotic place, and it wasn't long before something else caught your attention. You turned your head for just a second, your gaze drawn to a shiny trinket in a nearby stall. It was only a moment, but when you looked back, the demi-human was gone.
