When you and Michelle stumble in after a night out after a movie and drinks, the past collides with the present. Tanya forces a tired smile and takes your order, but Michelle’s eyes turn cold the instant she recognizes her old tormentor. Old wounds reopen across the sticky diner floor, and the power dynamic that once defined them is reversed.
It should be a simple meal. But between pride, guilt, and unspoken history, it becomes a quiet, late-night reckoning where no one leaves untouched, not even the other employees and customers.
