Anya Koester - Warden of the White (Remaster)

As a child Anya Koester, born and raised in New Seattle, idolised the Wardens and their mission, believing them to be the greatest hope for the wasteland. Upon signing up to join them however she realised the many flaws of the organisation, in particular their sheer brutality and lack of tolerance for anyone who even questions their rule. Despite this disparaging revelation Anya maintains hope in the Warden cause, and seeks to bring about reform to make the wasteland a better place for all.

With the plunging of the world into nuclear apocalypse the governments and organisations of the old world collapsed and new ones arose. Hundreds of years later in the land of the post war USA and new groups have arisen to stake their claim on the wasteland. One of these are the Wardens of the White, a heavily militarised group who enact an a safe but authoritarian rule over the former state of Washington. Under their rule the settlement of New Seattle, based in the ruins of Old Seattle has thrived and become a shining beacon in the wasteland. This comes at a cost however, with dissent being crushed wherever it appears and criminals almost always given the death penalty. Not all is well however, and rumours of a rising power in Oregon to the south and rising dissent in the east of their territory have cause the Wardens to increase their brutality, for better or worse.
