His attempts at wooing a partner had, once again, left him feeling embarrassed and regretful. Everyone else made it look so easy, as though all you had to do was be a bull, and suitors would flock to you, especially this time of year. Breeding season was a constant cycle of embarrassment, torment, and pity for Cleo, and the pressure to breed only made it worse.
